-The SPACE CADET table-
-What was a stool is now a table-
What was a broken bar stool is now a two tier, adjustable height coffee table.
Previously a breakfast-bar stool, I've taken the base and added a table top (that rotates), as well as a smaller shelf lower down that would be perfect for the TV remote, car keys, i-Pad etc.
At it's lowest point the table is the perfect height for a Saturday night takeaway, or, raise it up to it's fullest height when mates come round & load it up with mojito's & munchies.
Made almost entirely of reclaimed materials the SPACE CADET has real charm & character as well as impeccable green credentials.

TABLE TOP: 1970's pine drawing board, stained blue, then given 3 coats of oil, then 3 of wax
note; being upcycled the table top does have some minor dinks & imperfections from its previous incarnation
INLAY: Part of a 1970's children's game; the 'Space Capsule' was found in my Grandad's loft & is made of painted sheet steel (complete with some childhood wear-and-tear.)
CARE: Being a wax finish the table tops can easily be buffed to a shine using a soft, clean cloth.
SIZE: There's a technical photo in the picture gallery showing the table's dimensions.
Minimum height 58cm Maximum height 80cm Table top diameter 57cm
TRADE: I'm currently looking for shops/retailers to stock my wares... should be interested please get in touch
NOTE; The mechanism for lifting the table up & down is particularly strong & as such needs someone of 10 stone or more in order to be heavy enough to push the table top back down.
